Fr. Phil Egitto was born in New York City. He came to Florida when he was 17 and attended the University of Florida, where he received his Master's and Specialist Degree in Counselor Education. After graduation he went to Seminary for one year at St. Meinrad in Indiana. After St. Meinrad he attended St. Mary Seminary and University in Baltimore, MD. He then came back to the Diocese and served as principal of St. Paul School in Daytona Beach, FL. He was ordained a Priest in November of 1987 and was appointed as parochial Vicar at St. John Vianney in Orlando. After 5 years at St. John's he was appointed to St. Theresa in Titusville. In April of 1995 he was appointed Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes, Daytona Beach, FL. He is presently the co-chair of the clergy for F.A.I.T.H. He is the treasurer for the Black Clergy Alliance. He also is on the board for World AIDs week and the MLK celebration committee.

JoAnn Elder was born and raised in Hialeah, Florida. She received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida. While at UF she married her husband David. Upon graduation they relocated to Orlando, Florida where they became involved in the adoption and foster care communities. They eventually adopted all four of their children. In 2005, JoAnn and her family moved to Daytona Beach and became members of Our Lady of Lourdes. After receiving her Master Catechist designation through the Diocese of Orlando, Jo Ann attended Loyola University New Orleans through their Ministry Extension program and graduated with a Master's Degree in Religious Education. JoAnn's youngest son is a senior at Fr. Lopez Catholic High School and her youngest daughter is an 8th grader at Lourdes Academy.
Jeanine Correia, was born in Montefermiel, France. She was ten years old when she came to the United States. She lived and went to school in the city of Newark, N.J. During summer vacation in Portugal, she met her husband Manuel. They have two daughters. The family moved to Daytona in 2002. Jeanine enjoys being a mother, a wife and being with people.

Rachel is a graduate of Stetson University, and holds a Bachelor's Degree in music education, with a voice concentration. She has been a director of music throughout churches in central Florida for over ten years. Directly following her graduation in the spring of 2009, she joined the family of Our Lady of Lourdes as the music teacher, and has never enjoyed a church position so much in her life. She is currently attending summer courses in Rensselaer, Indiana, at St. Joseph's college to earn her Master's in Music and Liturgy.
Doug Dupont, was born in Hialeah, FL. He grew up in South Florida and was employed at his Parish Church, Immaculate Conception. In 1999 he and his mother, Marie Dupont, moved to Port Orange, FL. Marie died in 2009. His brother lives in the area. Doug enjoys dancing in his spare time.
Leonard Cox, was born in West Virginia. He and his wife lived in Chatanooga, TN, for 23 years working for Xerox Corporation. He and his wife transferred to Key West, Fl, for 10 years before moving to Daytona Beach, in 1996. He has 3 children , 2 of which live in Daytona. He enjoys watching sports. He began working for our parish 2006.

Linda Thale was born in Moline, IL. She, her husband and daughter moved to Ormond Beach in 1976. Attended the Pastoral Ministry Program through the Diocese of Orlando, her focus being Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults she was commissioned a Pastoral Minister in 1991 and was the Director of RCIA at St. Paul for 6 years. She and her husband Gary returned to Chicago in '97 where she attended and graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, beginning her artist commissions. They returned to Ormond Beach in 2005. Linda enjoys drawing, painting, reading and spending time with her cats.
